June 2014 on the Norfolk Broads. A sunny morning quickly turned into a long series of short sharp storms and brief gusty squalls. This one shot passed a good half-mile away from my location. This image depicts the very flat nature of the Norfolk Broads, which in this case makes for a good low horizon with which to capture the drama in the sky.

Shutter speed: 1/640 sec
Aperture: F8
ISO: 100
Notes: 13 image stitched panorama, cropped selection, converted to black and white. The colour image is deep saturated blue and lush green, but I prefer the black and white version as I feel the strong colours detract from the drama in the sky.
