Put away those interchangeable lens bodies, dust off the compact (old or new) and focus on something, well, compact. Anything which economizes on space is acceptable: gadgets, animals, architecture etc. Remember, compact doesn't necessarily mean small, large items can be compact too! Martin Creed's Cacti - Ikon Museum

This was taken at the Ikon museum in Birmingham, during Martin Creed's exhibition. I called this picture Cacti from the (invented) plural of the latin name Cactus. Trying to compose the picture I found how it is hard to play with a compact camera like it was a reflex... In particular I found hard to "compact" all the "cacti" in the frame with the limited optical range of the camera and with no chance to move the pots, since they were... the artwork...
