Put away those interchangeable lens bodies, dust off the compact (old or new) and focus on something, well, compact. Anything which economizes on space is acceptable: gadgets, animals, architecture etc. Remember, compact doesn't necessarily mean small, large items can be compact too! I had just returned to the hotel from a full day of shooting the amazing temples of Angkor Watt when I happened across this toad just outside my room. He wasn't afraid of me in the least and let me get quite close to get the shots. I later learned that it was my air-conditioning he was after as each morning I opened my door, he would be propped right against the crack under it to cool himself off. I quite like how his bumpy skin somewhat emulates the background.
