Put away those interchangeable lens bodies, dust off the compact (old or new) and focus on something, well, compact. Anything which economizes on space is acceptable: gadgets, animals, architecture etc. Remember, compact doesn't necessarily mean small, large items can be compact too! Remember, your shot has to be taken with a compact

From a Bridge on the Delaware River in Frenchtown, NJ. No changes. I used to go for walks there. There are 16 flares because the sun, which has 8, is casting a reflected false sun into the water, giving 8 more. Flickr image: look up Purenrg or description words to find it. No editing was done, no croping or special effects. Flickr let me bump up the saturation by +8 out of 100.

Notes: ISO might be wrong. Flickr isn't telling me, and I don't have the details. It was probably 200 though.
