In this challenge show us interesting and unusual whiskers to be found in the animal world. Whiskers, (facial hair) on large or small animals, birds, fish and marine creatures. I am also accepting the whisker-like appendages on the faces of insects, spiders, caterpillars. Please, NO photos of whiskers on humans, or domestic pets. Macro and close-up photos welcome. Size of entry: 1,600px on the longer side.

Australian Orb Weaving Spider (Eriophora transmarina) in my garden capturing the moon. The moon on its Waxing Gibbous phase (68.4%) on February 27, 2015. The spider is relatively harmless and beneficial.
