Challenge has finished
It's bath time in the natural world. Show us interesting examples of animals, birds, amphibians or reptiles cleaning themselves. Images of birds or animals having dust baths in order to rid themselves of lice or other insects are acceptable. Ducks or swimming birds won't be accepted unless they are obviously splashing, cleaning and preening their feathers. Insects and spiders grooming themselves are also accepted, but you must show them in cleaning mode. Macro and close-ups welcome. NO humans washing themselves, their children, the family dog, cat or bird. Size of entry: 1,600px on the longer side.
