Surprises in Nature
Challenge has finished
In this nature challenge, show the viewers something you have found which is beautiful, interesting, in an unexpected place, or makes you pause and wonder at it. Perhaps it is a flowering plant growing in a sidewalk, (footpath), an insect on a flower, where you didn't expect it to be, wave patterns in the sand, a 'face' in the bark of a tree.... There should be an element of surprise in your entry, so the viewer is able to enjoy that moment too. Macro and close-ups welcome. Please, no humans, domestic pets, and minimal man-made structures. Size of entry: 1,600px MAXIMUM on the longer side.
