Into the Wide

Challenge #2 in the Jaysen dog-foods challenges series. Hosted by Jaysen Marais.
Challenge has finished
How creative can you get with the wide angle lens? Show us what you can do with lens sporting an effective focal length of 35mm or less. Remember to tell us what lens you've used (no fibbing) and on what body. Compact and SLR entries are welcome, but make sure the lens used has an acceptable focal length (check our Camera Database if you're not sure). Oh, and no borders! Good luck.

79th place
No wide angle challenge without some interior church shots :) Taken in Nidarosdomen, Trondheim, Norway. Btw, Shadow/highlight tools were used in Photoshop to even out the contrast. If this is a breach of the rules the image should be removed.

Focal length: 12 mm

Notes: Tripod used, obviously. External flash fired behind the crucifix. Didn't show up much, except it gave the ceiling a blue tint.
