How creative can you get with the wide angle lens? Show us what you can do with lens sporting an effective focal length of 35mm or less. Remember to tell us what lens you've used (no fibbing) and on what body. Compact and SLR entries are welcome, but make sure the lens used has an acceptable focal length (check our Camera Database if you're not sure). Oh, and no borders! Good luck.

Into the wide sunset

116th place
Sunset over False Bay as viewed from Melkbaai beach in Strand with the mountains of the Cape Peninsula on the horizon, curved as a result of the wide focal length. Table Mountain can be seen on the right (not the usual direction from which this mountain is photographed!). This is a very popular beach for early morning or late afternoon strolling, when the wind is calm.

Focal length: 7.8 mm
Shutter speed: 1/550 sec

Notes: I hope I will be forgiven having a 37mm effective focal length, but this is the widest my old camera could go!
