Nature in One Colour

Challenge #132 in the Life in the Natural World series. Hosted by RuthC.
Challenge has finished
In this FULL COLOUR challenge, show us pictures in nature where the subject is in monochrome, that is, in different shades or tones of a SINGLE colour. NO entries in black & white only, or sepia. You may enter photos of any colour, for example green, but the whole picture must be in shades of green. Ditto white, yellow, pink, red.... See my examples below. Macro and close-ups welcome. Please, let nature show us the colour, don't de-saturate or use excessive post-programming to produce the single colour. I will disqualify plain blue skies, because that's just too easy. 1,600px MAXIMUM on the entry's longer side.

I dragged an old park bench up to one of my little high mountain meadows and put it under a fruit tree. This is a peaceful spot and sometimes I "hunt" deer from here in the fall. There is usually a riot of color, especially in spring with the white fruit blossoms and in the fall with the brightly colored leaves, but the woods become uniformly brown in the late winter. No PP'ing needed for the drab monochrome effect.
