Close up or Macro Shot of a Flower

Challenge #28 in the BAM series. Hosted by Bangers and Mash.
Challenge has finished
Submit your best image of a close up or macro shot of a single flower against a solid black or solid white background. You may use a white diffusion material to back-light the flower. Photograph any flower you like. Nothing else should be in the image, either in front of, behind, above, or below other than the flower's stem and it's leaves if you choose - and no props like a vase on a table as an example. Mist or water drops on the flower's petals adds a nice touch. Above all, be creative with your lighting. The sample image that I shot a number of years ago of an artificial rose (Pinocchio Rose) which I provided below is used as an example so as to give an idea pertaining to the theme only. Please use a REAL flower in you image. Enjoy the challenge.
