Let's think beyond honey bees, bumblebees, butterflies etc to some of the more unusual creatures you've found. If you don't know what they are, then another member might know. The Senior Curator of Entomology at Museum Victoria was able to identify this rare fly for me. (He had never seen one alive before, and this was the most southerly sighting in Australia!) Central highlands, Victoria.
