Remember when you got your first camera? Remember the first shot that gave you that WOW? or that which you were proud of? Your first WOW might be long gone. If so, choose your oldest WOW image. It might be in print format from the days of film. If so, it'd need to be scanned. this is not about how awesome the picture is, but about how it made you feel in your beginning days of photography, before you might have understood what DOF means, or even the basics of composition. If you add a little story to your WOW image, even better. Enjoy.

For a long time I admire macro shots of insects. But I never had the right equipment for the macro. This praying mantis I photographed with my first digital camera. It stood in my left hand and posed as a real model for a minute. I was very excited, and when I saw the results even more I fell in love with photography. To this day macro photography is my favorite.
