The Wasa in Stockholm is a beautiful and rich crafted wooden swedish warship built 1626-1628. The ship sank in Stockholm habour after sailing just 1,400 yd) during her maiden voyage on 10 August 1628. It was salvaged in 1961 - almost undestroyed dur to the special mixture of salt and freshwater in Stockholm habour, restored and conservated. Today you can find it in its own museum which is very worth visiting.
