By request, this challenge is being repeated, as the first one was popular, and filled very quickly. In this challenge, show us examples of simplicity in nature, perhaps a grass stalk, a leaf, a pebble or shell at the beach. Your entries should be VERY SIMPLE and MINIMAL. Less is better in this challenge. If the entry is considered too busy and detailed, it will be DQ'd. Macro and close-ups welcome. Where possible, the subject should be outside in the natural environment. SIZE: 1,600px MAXIMUM ON LONGER SIDE. Save your detailed nature pictures for next week's challenge.

Jumping through what must have seemed like a jungle to it, this tiny, young jumping spider was a little reluctant to have its picture made. Using nearly the maximum magnification of my camera & lens combo produced a very shallow depth of field and gave a more simplistic end result. Thanks for viewing! ;o)
