Two of my watches, and my favorites: the first GMT, developed by Rolex (said to have been designed for Pan-Am pilots); and the Omega Speedmaster Pro (aka Speedy). This the manual wind/hesalite crystal model selected by NASA for the Apollo program crews. Hesalite is plastic and chosen because in case of damage, unlike sapphire crystal, would crack rather than shatter, sending many shards into the zero gravity environment. This watch was so accurate that Apollo 13 astronauts used it to time the reentry rockets when their onboard computer failed.
