In this challenge show us examples in nature, of birds, animals, fish, plants, flowers, insects or spiders, etc., which have been given nicknames which describe them well. The names will not be their scientific names, but have been adopted into common usage because that is what the subjects look, feel, sound, smell or taste like. Examples which come to mind include spoonbills, parrotfish, blue-tongue lizards, stink bugs, bower birds, goldfish..... Where possible, the subjects should be outside in their natural environment. No cats, or domestic animals or birds, please. Macro and close-up shots welcome. Size 1,600px MAXIMUM.
