Magazine article: Graffiti

Challenge #149 in the The Art Director series. Hosted by jezsik.
Challenge has finished
With the arrival of socially conscious street artists like Banksy, an urban life magazine is looking for creative images of creative graffiti. They're not interested in the graffiti by itself (they could snap a picture with their cell phone), but want something where the photographer has put a bit of work into it. Juxtaposition the art against something else, creative use of framing, special effects added to the image, any of these things will do. Submit an image that goes beyond the snapshot.

We do see a lot of graffiti every day, sometimes it is beautiful, sometimes disgusting, but it is a rare chance for casual by-walker to see graffiti artists "in the wild". A certain alley near Mendeleevskaya metro station is one of the few places in in Moscow, Russia, where graffiti artists can express themselves officially, without being prosecuted for misdemeanor if caught in the act. New images completely replace previous every week or even more often. Capture was approved by the guy with the condition of not showing his face, G-Man is not his handle.
