The Astonishing World of Small Structures
Challenge has finished
Cameras are great tools to enlarge and explore the world that exists at and beyond the limits of human perception. Let's dive into this strange, beautiful world. Please submit your best macro photo of rocks, minerals, crystals, snow, ice, sand, glass shards, or similar. Material can be natural or manmade, as long as it was shaped by forces of nature. No pictures of little creatures -- maybe we'll do those another time. Please mention what we are looking at (for educational purposes).. Detailed or simple descriptions are ok, such as "pyrite trinket" or "rock found in my backyard."
