Flies
Challenge has finished
Yes, this challenge is giving flies (Order Diptera) the opportunity to show their talents??? and redeem themselves in the eyes of the public who just see them as pests needing to be swatted or sprayed. You may enter any type of flies, (order Diptera) whether they are house flies, hover flies, robber flies, time flies, even mosquitoes and gnats, (which are in the same family). The flies should be outside, on flowers, leaves, buzzing around, or just doing what they do; NOT under studio lights. NO bees, beetles, bugs, dragonflies, (which aren't flies) or other insects. Macro and close-up shots welcome. Refer to http://bugguide.net/node/view/55/bgpage?from=0 for more information. Size: MAXIMUM 1,600px on LONGER SIDE
