This is always a very popular subject, so I'm repeating it for your enjoyment. You may enter any type of bee, whether it is a honey bee, a bumble bee, or a native bee. The bee/bees must be outside, on flowers, leaves, buzzing around, or just doing what bees do; NOT under studio lights. NO flies, or other insects. Macro and close-up shots welcome. One of several hive stacks at the edge of a commercial blueberry orchards in Southwest Michigan. They pollinate the blossoms and also make some outstanding honey. I did pay the price as I was stung on the right eyebrow while taking this shot. Guess the bees didn't like their picture taken!

Notes: I also used a Canon x2.0 TC (Gen III) to give me a bigger safety zone from the hive. I guess since I only got stung once, it worked!
