This Flying Fortress, one of the few still flying, is the largest aircraft in the fleet of the Lone Star Flight Museum on Galveston Island, Texas. The aircraft is painted to memorialize the original Thunderbird one of the few aircraft flying bombing missions over Germany during WWII to complete its full service (112 missions) without a single injury to a crew member or to never turn back from its mission for any reason.
