Remembering the Past: Silos and Graineries

Challenge #12 in the Remembering the Past series. Hosted by libertylady.
Challenge has finished
This challenge would encompass grain bins or silos on individual farms or more commercial graineries in CoOps or other places. If it is constructed to hold grain on a large scale (NOT kitchen types of containers) then it would fit the challenge. Please put both an apropriate title and location of the photo. Without these two things, it is apt to be disqualified.

Silo No 5 DP

Entry has been withdrawn
4th place
Built in four stages (1906, 1913, 1924 and 1958), Silo No 5 is the only example of the evolution of grain elevators in the 20th century. With the demolition of Silo No. 1 and Silo No. 2, it is now the last vestige of the harbour panorama of Old Montreal in the 20th century.
