Equipment: 2 William Optics telescopes, Losmandy GM8 mount, Nikon D300 and multiple astro-imaging accessories. $8000. Processing: 1. Reducing thermal signal using dark frames to subtract from light frames. 2. Averaging he light frames to improve signal to noise ratio. 3. Flatten the field to remove vignetting. 4. Setting the white and black points to neutralize sky background (performed on each channels).

|Notes:||Orion Nebula is a diffuse nebula and one of the brightest nebula at an approximative 1300 light years. It is also one of the most photographed object in our galaxy. It took 45 pictures from 30 to 360 seconds to gather sufficient light.|
