All over the world there are different food cultures. Submit a photo of any type of food with a certain tradition behind or common staples from any specific country which must be mentioned. Fruits are allowed here but you must state the native country of the fruit. It does not have to be fancy food. For example, you can show the simple food people in Africa can afford.

Pork Intestines, Anyone?

"Isaw", pork intestines and other inner organs, marinaded in a variety of flavors and barbecued, a Filipino street delicacy. Tradition has it that when the Spaniards ruled the Philippines from the 16th to 19th century, Filipinos forced into slave labor were fed waste offal or internal organs from farm animals whose meat were reserved only for their Spanish masters. Thus Filipinos developed a taste for preparing and cooking such unwanted internal organs.
