Man-made structures, (roads, buildings, bridges etc.,) should be non-existent or minimal please. This mysterious formation was caused by an ancient lava flow that rapidly cooled underwater. The rock is extremely soft, which makes for intricate patterns carved into the rock from annual rains. The mixture of light and shadow combined with fine detail would make for a challenging jigsaw puzzle.
