All of us tend to look for ever costlier equipment. This challenge shall show how advanced standard equipment has become. To start with let's restict to compact cameras (and other mobile equipment; not changeable lens) up to approximate 400g. This is a beginners challenge. We want to learn - please comment the pictures! Please be creative! Since many small lenses perform best very near I expect a lot of macro shots. If this challenge gets full I intend to follow up with a macro-excluded round.

Bronze sculpture by Matvey Manizer, Moscow metro station "Revolution Square", 1938 opened . There are 76 sculptures, symbolizing "happy sovjet people". All figures, excluding jung pionners, are depicted in sitting or standing on the knee position. It was accepted in these time, that everyl people during Stalin's reign were or sitting (in prison - in Russian man said "to sit in prison"), or standing on the knees in humiliation. Today these sculptures are examples of "Socialistic realism" style in art.
