Wingless Moth

A female wingless moth, just out of its cocoon, and laying hundreds of eggs on the cocoon 'basket'; without having met up with a mate!

Notes: Hand-held, one of many shots I took over a period of days. Tiny caterpillars later emerged from the eggs.
