The subject matter can vary but the important part is that you title your work and give a good explanation of what kind of digital tools you used to make your picture amazing. The more surreal your image the better. This is all about editing to the nth degree. Create an image that takes real photographic material and turns it into something spectacular and fantastical!

The picture is taken during the Luminara di San Ranieri night feast in Pisa, which roots to the heathen celebrations of Solstice. During the event, the houses along the Arno river are decorated with the thousands of burning candles... Some historians claim that Roman civilization survived the "dark ages" in some places of Europe (e.g. in Tuscany) and gave birth to the Renaissance. That, for example, reflects in the continuity of architectural technologies. When I watch this image I have feeling of fall in time into the Roman epoch...
