May 6th 2012 was a "super-moon" occurrence. The moon was the closest to earth it could have been during it's lunar cycle and it was also a full moon. In celebration of this occurrence let's see some of your astro-photography.

A local wind generator in front of the south polar axis. In the lower left sky you can also see a smoke trail dissipating from a large shooting star just before I took this shot. Another 2 shots after this I had the axis placed perfectly, but it was real cold, the lens was fogging up and I was ankle deep in water, time to call it a night.
