"Owling at the moon"

A pale moon rises on the eastern sky, as this Eurasian Pygmy Owl (Glaucidium passerinum) rests at one of her vantage viewpoints in the forest. When positioning yourself for such a capture, with a 1000mm equivalent lens, you surely see how fast that moon is moving!
