Challenge #4 in the Remembering the Past series. Hosted by libertylady.

There are many really interesting bridges in the world. In this challenge, I am not looking for covered bridges as that would be a challenge to itself. They can be beautiful or broken down but should exhibit some character. Please tell where the bridge is located and the age if you know it. You can do that in the title or description.

The oldest bridge on mainland Australia, the Lennox Bridge is near Blaxland west of Sydney - built in 1833 from local sandstone by convicts and was part of the Great Western highway until 1950's. Still carries light traffic today.
