TinkerBell and Peter Pan in NeverNever Land (Kensington Gardens, London)

27th place
Famous popular bronze statue (1912) in Kensington Gardens by Sir Frampton of the J.M.Barrie children's novel. Taken just before sunset on an evening stroll while on a week's vacation, I had to wait for a fleeting break in the crowd of statue climbing children and photo snapping adults. Just as I was ready to shoot, the setting sun burst through a gap in the trees and I framed the shot so to make it appear as if the fairy TinkerBell was at Peter Pan's feet.
