Stone Work (Capture date and size rule) Please read all...
Challenge has finished
Something made of stone. It can be a granite counter top or a rock fireplace. Anything made of solid rock or rocks held together with grout or mortar. A cobble stone road is OK, brick is not as brick is man made and not stone. The photo needs to be taken after the challenge is announced. The reason for this is to give you the opportunity to spend a little time planning and capturing an interesting photo. It's got to be worth an hour of your time to think and act creatively rather then watch TV. Your family could have fun helping you. This is not a snapshot challenge, it's a creative challenge. I'd rather have 7 quality photos then a challenge full of file photos. Additional rules apply, please read carefully.

Cornish hedges are built from granite rocks - Cornwall is mostly granite! The hedge is constructed and packed with soil, the roots of the plants which find their way into the hedge hold it together. The hedges are quite spectacular in the spring.
