This is a tiny jewel of a bird a little bit larger than a hummingbird. This photo is of an adolescent bird in the process of moulting into its adult plummage.

|Notes:||Sigma SD-14 camera body with Foveon sensor hooked up to Leica MR-Telyt-R 500mm f/8 mirror lens. One tends to have a love/relationship with this lens as it is so dark and difficult to use, but the results can be spectacular if you hit the focus just right|
