Sossusvlei desert area in Namibia with water from the Tsauchab river. This extremely rare natural spectacle happens only each 8-10 years when the Tsauchab river carries water under ground. The water reappears in the Sossusvlei salt pan. The dune in the background is the Sossusvlei dune.
