An improved or combined picture and its original(s)

Challenge #24 in the variable subjects I series. Hosted by Lext123.

Challenge has finished

Show me a composition of two (or more) pictures: one that has been edited (or combined) to make it better, funnier, more artistic, etc., and the original(s) used to create the final result. Combine the pictures together into one image. Keep the edited result on the RIGHT -, or UPPER part of your composition (see sample pictures). Subjects and type of editing are free to choose. Voters should take every aspect into account: final result, difficulty, originality, artistic ability and composition layout. This will be the last challenge in this series. Have fun.

Bratislava streetcar

The T3AS streetcard at Kapucínska street. I wanted to keep a litte mix of recognizible warm and cold lights, but less than the original scene was.

Notes:	Process: 1. Shoot RAW. 2. Process TIFs with a flat curve and neutral settings. Each set with different color temparature 3. Create HDRs with identical settings. 4. Manually mask the two HDRs to balance warm and cold lights. This is the hardest work and takes most time, other processes are way more automated. 5. Overall contrast and brightness adjusements. 6. Distortion correction. 7. Downsizing and sharpening.

this is a plain photograph, sparks no interest. Would have looked better with rain reflections... but wait, it's been done before... This print is not meant for hanging on the wall but rather to be stored on a hard drive.

Yes, a "wet" look would be much better. However I cannot do that in PP, same as I cannot control weather. This image was specific for a special purpouse - advertisment of the modernized streetcar. You can see it as a "product photograph". And with a strettcar in a specific city, you are pretty limited - you cannot take it out to some specific scenery, a studio, etc. without great costs. We found this place in the streets and had to reverse the tram in the opposite direction (it is unidirectional with cabin only on one end and doors on one side) and back up all the way through the city from the main station where it was possible to "turn" it. There was some effort behind this, even if it looks plain. Also PP was far from being plain. If you could do a better pic of the T3AS no. 7303 clearly identifying it with Bratislava, please do so and show it to me. I like to learn from others. Belive me, I myself am not 100% satisfied with the result, but cannot do anything more about it.
