Errors, Slips, And Blunders: ISO Soup
Challenge has finished
If there's one general problem that's common to nearly all cameras, it's ISO noise - whether it be from using the no-flash auto setting, shooting in the dark, trying to catch fast action, or your flubbing the manual settings. Whatever the case was, your resulting photo is nearly or entirely unusable because of too much "grain".

I've lived in the Seattle area my whole life and never seen a pod of orca out in the sound. By the time this group was close enough to photograph it was quite dark and I had to up the ISO to have any chance of the photo not turning out blurry. This is slightly cropped from the original, but while I'd like to crop in even closer, there's too much noise already. Still, the chance to see these amazing animals in the wild, and the fact that I had my camera with me, made for a memorable experience.
