Winter Dreams is about chasing wealth and thinking it will bring you happiness. In the book,Dexter gains his wealth, but ends up feeling empty. I used winter white colors in the fabric and pearls, (which along with the money, also connotate wealth) and somewhat dark lighting to add to a feeling of depression.
