We went camping at Grand Canyon the last week of September 2011. The sky was hazy most of the time. The last night we were their, it rained hard and cleared out some of the haze and dramatic cloud formation was over the horizon. I was determined to go back to Mather Point before we left that morning and I was rewarded with this image.

Taken: Tuesday, 6th September, 2011
Focal length: 24 mm
Shutter speed: 1/400 sec
Aperture: F11
ISO: 200
Notes: The shot was taken without my camera mounted on tripod. Believe or not, it was still somewhat hazy after the rain. I had to do some post processing to bring out the contrast. As you can see, I converted the image to B/W, so viewer can see the drama that I was enjoying at that moment.
