I am the creator of this image.
@ Mihai Muntean, This was shot and is virtually straight out of camera.

I made the image a little more contrasty in Aperture and that's it.

Let me demystify what I think of this picture. The couple was edited-in on top of a picture of a lighthouse. The couple was lit by a strobe. Stars were digitally added. The moon as well. PLease vote accordingly. If I am wrong I appologize in advance but I don't see how you have stars on the lighthouse then, and how the light is so strong around the contour of the couple.

The lighthouse is blur. But why the moon is sharper than the red lamp. If not too much post-processing. I will vote it higher. Now 3s.

This was shot @ F2.8 @3200iso on my D3s.
There was NO processing other than a small boost in contrast in Aperture.
The 'spots' were flying insects that were lit by my rear flash.

The moon looks sharper because it is totally out of focus, ie how bokeh looks 'sharp' on distant objects.... dunno if I am explaining myself well..

I am not criticising the flying insects. I just note that there are two
sharpness distance in this photo, one in the front and the another in the far distance back. Just compare the red lamp of the lighthouse with the moon, you will see why I am questioning.
Though the rule say creativity is encouraged in processing, but you make the contrast too much......

The "star" is an insect that was lit by my flash!
There are NO special effects or processing on this image other than a boost in contrast.
I also did not arrange the insects in a 'heart' shape...LOL!
