As an urbanite, I have never, ever seen a snake in real life, up close. Thus, to satisfy my and surely others' curiosity, I challenge you to submit your best pictures of snakes!! I would be scared of them in real life, but via DPR my monitor protects me from their dangers while allowing me to study them :D

This is a picture of the brown morph of green vine snake. Like many other snakes the common name is confusing and does not do justice to the colour morphs that can be found in the western ghats of India.
