The greatest tragedy of pet overpopulation is that those with obvious physical problems very rarely find a new home. Shelters usually euthanize the old, the blind and the sick as soon as they arrive to make room for those that are more adoptable. That would've surely been the fate of my Lil Boo if she hadn't been left on our doorstep. Charming, affectionate and a natural clown, her wonky eye only enhances her sweetness and beauty...she's best example of perfect imperfection that I know.
