Brilliant mimicry of a green leaf by this katydid. Now I know why they don't bother to hide from predators!

No, no photoshopping, just a small amount of cropping. And yes, my fabulous little Canon IS a Point & Shoot, which allows me to get very close to the insect subjects, and is very lightweight for me to handle. :-)
