Challenge has finished
Welcome to the 2010 'Challenge of Challenges.' This is our second annual 'Picture of the Year' competition, contested by some of the leading challenge-winning images from the past twelve months. With over 1200 challenges completed this year, we were unable to include every winning entry so instead are asking you to vote on the 100 most voted-for challenge-winners of 2010.
This was taken at a lovely little place called Milarrochy on the shores of Loch Lomond, Scotland. I love this tree because it lies just offshore and is usually half-submerged and had a gorgeous backdrop of the local hills. I was very lucky with the weather and had clouds (but not too many) and nice warm light. I used an ND1000 filter to get the exposure nice and long (around 30 seconds).
This entry was originally submitted to the Your best 2009 challenge.
