This shot was a pain. I had to wait for the timid little bugger to come out of his home in the tide rock - which involved laying prone on said tide rock for about 5-10 minutes (comfy!), popping off 2-3 quick frames, crab dodging back into tide rock, and repeat. But for the result, it was all worth it in my book.

|Focal length:||100 mm|
|Shutter speed:||1/100 sec|
|Notes:||This was shot at a fairly close distance, the crop was limited to chopping of the horizontal edges for a 1:1 aspect ratio. The crab's shell was maybe 6-7cm across, and found on Florida's Atlantic coast. A species ID would be much appreciated.|
