Synesthesia is a neurologically-based condition in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway. People with this condition may perceive numbers. letters or symbols in a particular color, or find that certain sounds also cause them to smell an odor. Do some research here-http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synesthesia and see what images you can come up with that evoke a sense of the experience of Synesthesia.
