Caught this hybrid flower on my trip to Yercaud, TN, India last dec. This flower is called umbrella flower coz of its max span opening upto that shape, as in the the pic, and they grow hanging downwards with its stigma visible at the bottom, just like an umbrella's stick. It was a beautiful catch. well, i placed this otherwise-hanging flower over it's huge leaves, so i could capture it neatly.
