My Other Camera...

Challenge #1 in the Engineering series. Hosted by Atrin.
Challenge has finished
Time to kick off the Engineering Series. Our first challenge is to photograph a remarkable and beautiful piece of engineering that you use regularly: your camera. In this challenge you are to photograph your other camera, as a beautiful and living piece of engineering. Let your imagination go wild, treat the camera as a living breathing entity. Don't just sit it on a table and snap a picture of it. Your camera witnesses a lot in this world, it explores the world with you. It is your silent and trusty companion. It's a lot more exciting than you may think it is.

Mythical Nikon F3
Entry has been withdrawn
45th place
This is my mythical Nikon F3 body, the one I bought with my first summer job pay. As the designated "press photographer" for the student's magazine, I got a chance to meet with H.M. Baudouin 1st, King of the Belgians, during one of his visits to the campus. And guess what we talked about? Nikon photography, of course!, as it so happened that the King had the same camera. For posterity, I have integrated the picture taken on this occasion into the camera (see reflection in the lens)
