Apple wanted to use this photo as a desktop on the iPhone. It had apparently passed the Steve Jobs cut. I scrambled because the photo was from the Monterey Bay Aquarium so I didn't own the copyright. The folks there were very nice; we split the money 50/50. After I delivered the photo to Apple they dramatically reduced the number of photos and mine didn't make the new set. However since I'd delivered the photos Apple kindly paid a kill fee. Liked the money but oh if it was on the iPhone!
